Al denaro sono però interessate numerose altre persone che, in ripetute occasioni cercano inutilmente di uccidere Sartana, mentre solo Belle, la vedova di Johnson sembra disposta ad aiutarlo. Dopo avere eliminato i suoi avversari, Sartana viene a conoscenza che ad organizzare il colpo ed a uccidere Johnson è stato Grande Full con la complicità di Belle. Scoperto il nascondiglio dell'oro, Sartana raggiunge il duplice obiettivo di punire i responsabili dell'operazione banditesca e di entrare in possesso dell'intera refurtiva.
