Rent’s a bitch. And that is why, six months after her best friend went missing, Amanda finally gives in to getting another roommate, Hailey. A man awakens in a car wreck at the bottom of a steep cliff. He can't remember who he is or how he got there, but a report over the radio fills in some of the blanks, as it describes a violent bank robbery and names a perpetrator who happens to be sitting dead in the back seat.

Two police detectives try to track down a vicious serial killer bent on reclaiming his mother's family heirloom wedding ring as it passes from bride to bride with the killer always one step behind, and the detectives one step behind the killer.
