He is best known for his work on Perfect Strangers, Full House, Family Matters and well as directing the films My Big Fat Greek Wedding and Fat Albert. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was educated at Brooklyn College. He directed twenty-one pilots, all of which went on to have successful runs as weekly series.
