The Wolf and the Lion

After her grandfather's death, 20-year-old Alma decides to go back to her childhood home - a little island in the heart of the majestic Canadian forest. Whilst there, she rescues two helpless cubs: a wolf and a lion. They forge an inseparable bond, but their world soon collapses as the forest ranger discovers the animals and takes them away. The two cub brothers must now embark on a treacherous journey across Canada to be reunited with one another and Alma once more.

Féroce

Gilles de Maistre's political thriller Féroce (Ferocious) is about a man seeking revenge. Arab Alain (Samy Naceri) decides to join a fascistic French political party in order to assassinate the leader, Legle (Jean-Marc Thibault). Alain comes to this decision when his girlfriend's brother is murdered after he had defaced some of the party's paraphernalia. To improve the party's public stance on immigrants, Alain is hired as a security guard. Legle's daughter is attracted to Alain, who is tempted enough by the girl to abandon some of his religious convictions.

Killer Kid

After his father is killed, Djilali is sold by his family to a Lebanese terrorist group. After completing a grueling training process alongside five other boys, Djilali is chosen for a special assignment and sent to Paris to live with carefree Arab boy Karim, who is scheduled to meet the French president at a Christmas party. Djilali's mission is to impersonate Karim and kill the president, but his growing friendship with the happy youth gives him pause.
