Biography: Carlos Lerma is an award-winning Mexican writer, director, and author who brings his unique touch to both the movie screen and the printed page. Best known for his collection of original live-action and animated films, he has directed critically acclaimed works such as "Lightning in a Bottle" (2024), "Faraway Fiesta" (2023), and the animated sensation "Treasure Haunt" (2023). Jumping between art mediums is what sets Lerma apart, from live-action to animation to books. Lerma is also a poet and illustrator of three best-selling Spanish-written poetry books and two new English-written poetry books. Lerma moved from Monterrey, México to Chicago, IL, in 2022 to pursue the American Dream in entertainment and literature.

A cursed photo is found by a guy walking on the streets. Mesmerized and curious to find who his girl is he aimlessly wanders around Chicago to find her. He asks friends and strangers. And comes out with no answers. On the verge of giving up, he starts to follow a person who he thinks resembles the girl that is in the photo. The pretty girl holding a peace sign in the photo is the girl he starts following. The boy is run over by a car because he was so distracted by the photo. In the end, the girl in the photo disappears as she is a ghost and the peace sign she was holding in the photo changes to her holding three fingers up, as the hand was never making a peace sign but showing a count.
