Biography: Emilie Mannering is a self-taught filmmaker from Montreal. Her award-winning short films have been screened in over 100 local and international competitions. She has been nominated twice at the Canadian Screen Awards for Best Canadian Short Fiction (STAR and Mahalia Melts In The Rain) and once at the Gala des prix Iris du cinéma Québécois (STAR). Emilie has also participated in the TIFF Talent Lab and her most recent film Jarvik recently won the Region Skåne Short Film Award in Sweden and was selected by TIFF Canada's Top Ten.
