The Journey

Bari, a city caught in the relentless economic crisis. Ivo is an agronomist, but the lack of opportunities pushes him to accept a job in the fertile region of Banat in Romania. Clara has just ended a relationship and is about to lose her job at the Bari harbor. Ivo and Clara meet by chance and seem to immediately understand each other. They spend only one night together before Ivo's departure, but that is enough to create a bond and wanting to meet again. When Clara visits him in Romania, they fall in love. But is exile their only way to happiness?

The Nightwalk

Jarvis has just moved to Shanghai and is suddenly confined to his empty apartment. He finds it difficult to manage his loneliness and plunges into a state of deep anxiety. The only way to escape his nightmares is to flee through the deserted city to get to a friend’s house.

Casablanca

Fouad, a Moroccan clandestine living in Italy for years awaiting medical treatment, and Daniela, a former drug-addict from Apulia’s upper middle-class, find each other by chance in Umbria. The meeting is the beginning of a special bond that helps them heal, both claiming without any hesitation, they saved each other’s life. But Fouad’s feeling of not belonging and the interminable waiting for a visa are pushing him to the brink: will he stay in Umbria or go back to Casablanca, even if it means never to return?

Once more, Yann is about to leave Calcutta, returning to Paris. He has just dropped off his son with his mother and has one night to wander the streets of the city where he will only be able to come back in a few months.
