Biography: Writer and actor Abhimanyu Mukherjee first debuted in 2009 as a writer with the movie Prem Amar, which he wrote the screenplay and dialogues for. Following his debut, he worked on the dialogues of the movie Le Chakka, where he was also seen acting. As a writer Abhimanyu has worked on movies like Shatru (2011), Idiot (2012), Bojhena Shey Bojhena (2012), Kanamachi (2013), Borbaad (2014), Yoddha : The Warrior (2014), One (2017), and Dhaka Attack (2017). Most of his movies are remakes.
In 2018 Abhimanyu wrote and directed the romantic-drama, Noor Jahaan. The cast has Adrit Roy, Puja Cherry, Tulika Basu, Sabyasachi Chakraborty and Rajatava Dutta in important roles. His 2019 projects include Googly and Love Story. His 2023 release includes Kirtan.
