He started his professional career in cinema at the Institute of Geological Information Technologies named after IK Karpenko-Kary, who graduated in 1995 with a diploma from an operator, and in 2000 with a diploma from a director of a documentary. Engaged in the creative workshops of Ukrainian cinematographers Alexey Prokopenko and A. I. Koval. In 2006–2007, he studied at the School of Director A.Waida, Poland.
