Biography: Jeff Kaplan is a director and writer. He frequently collaborates with writer Ian Springer. Together, they created the 2013 independent comedy Bert and Arnie's Guide to Friendship, which Kaplan directed. They have also established a number of comedic ventures around town. Disaster Wedding, directed by Palm Springs filmmaker Max Barbakow and produced by End Cue and Jon Watts, and K-Pop: Lost in America, starring Charles Melton and Rebel Wilson and directed by JK Youn and CJ Entertainment, are among them. The young writers reunited at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts after initially meeting in a summer school programme for high school students at Boston University. For more than ten years, they have been friends and partners. They have also helped write Marvel Studios' The Fantastic Four.
