Biography: From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Deb Mukherjee or Deb Mukherji is a Bengali Indian actor. He is the father of director Ayan Mukerji. He is part of the famous Mukherjee family which spans four generations. His family has been in the Bollywood industry since the 1940s. His family includes his father Sashadhar Mukherjee, the owner of Filmalaya studios. His brothers are Joy Mukherjee a successful actor in the 60's and Shomu Mukherjee, the husband of actress Tanuja. His nieces are top actress Kajol and her sister Tanisha. Other members of the Mukherjee family include Rani Mukerji and Sharbani Mukherjee. This movie revolves around a village hospital that was built by a generous hearted man, Choudhury Ramprasad (Ashok Kumar) who is also a patient in the hospital. The other patients include Isamil (Iftekhar), Dayaram (Anwar Hussain), Ratan (Jalal Agha), and the doctor is Dr. Sunil (Sunil Dutt). Amongst the patient is a singer (Deb Mukherji), who loves Shyama (Farida Jalal) a worker in the hospital. When Meeta Sharma (Waheeda Rehman) comes to the hospital to admit her son, she meets Sunil and their romance is rekindled. In the background of the hospital atmosphere is an election in the village, which is proceeding smoothly, but causing a disturbance is Ramprasad's son (Ramesh Deo). Other supporting caste include Jagirdar, Chand Usmani, and Jankidas.

Main Tulsi Tere Aangan Ki

Thakur Rajnath Singh Chouhan opens a can of worms when he announces that he is going to marry a prostitute by the name of Tulsi. His mother will not even consider Tulsi as a daughter-in-law, and would prefer that he marry Sanjukta. Tulsi convinces him that he should marry the woman of his mother's choice, which he eventually does. Thereafter Tulsi gives birth to a baby boy, Ajay, and passes away. Sanjukta raises Ajay as her own child, even after the passing away of Rajnath, and even after giving birth to Pratap. Ajay is given the entire responsibility of the estate, while Pratap squanders money on courtesans and alcohol. Sanjukta trusts Ajay, until one day when a villager complains to her that Ajay has got his daughter, Geeta, pregnant; additionally she also finds out that Ajay has been misappropriating money, and also owes money to a prostitute named Leelabai, the very woman who sold Tulsi to Rajnath.
