In 1986, Bikramjeet Kanwarpal passed Higher Secondary Examination from The Lawrence School, Sanawar and joined Indian Army in 1989 and in 2002 retired as Army Major. He is the son of a retired Army Officer Dwarka Nath Kanwarpal who was awarded the Kirti Chakra in the sixties (16 June 1963).
