Good Old Boys

Balo, Villarán and Domingo are lifelong friends in their 80s, attending the funeral of their fourth comrade, Quique. On a whim, and fueled by their animosity towards the departed's shrewish wife, they steal the urn containing the ashes and are thrust into a series of misadventures.

Peru, early 2000s. Alfonso wants to be a writer, but he decides to work first as a journalist. He is assigned to the crime section of a newspaper, a job from which he can know the nasty guts of tabloid publications.

October

Clemente, a moneylender of few words, is a new hope for Sofía, his single neighbor, devoted to the October worship of Our Lord of the Miracles. They're brought together over a new-born baby, fruit of Clemente's relationship with a prostitute who's nowhere to be found. While Clemente is looking for the girl's mother, Sofía cares for the baby and looks after the moneylender's house. With the arrival of these beings in his life, Clemente has the opportunity to reconsider his emotional relations with people

Fallen from Heaven

An ambitious black comedy that tells three loosely related stories: a couple of elderly landowners, laid low by economic conditions and reformist politics, are trying to gather enough money to build themselves a marble tomb that would keep their remains in the style to which they still aspire; they give their now blind former housekeeper a pig that proves to be more trouble than it's worth as the effort to fatten it up destroys what little family the woman has; and one of the couple's tenants, who is presenter of a relentlessly optimistic radio self-help show, tries to put his own counsel into effect when he saves a young woman from suicide.

Eleven Males 2

Eleven friends face the kidnapper of their children on the soccer field. Only a victory will bring them back to their families.
