Biography: Gaunt-looking American character actor Frank McGlynn Sr. is best remembered for his many portrayals in 1930s and 1940s historical films of US President Abraham Lincoln. McGlynn began performing on stage in 1896. Prior to that, he had been a practicing lawyer, a graduate of the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
