From Cleveland State University's School of Film & Media Arts, this 30 minute Dark Comedy/Science Fictional story was first conceptualized by Cinematographer, Greg Pace, during the height of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Wanting it to come to fruition, Greg handed off the script to Chan Cunningham, who would then become the Writer, Director, and Co-Producer of the student lead thesis project. '306' is a film that makes the viewer question: Is the closest person in your life normal? A family member, friend, or a lover? What is the norm that we are suppose to follow in life? What is perceived as normal on the outside is usually just a daily costume, which we as people like to dance around in to assimilate into society? The question is: Who is Eric Hays? Or more specifically: What is Eric Hays hiding? '306' gives the viewer a chance to see a secret that no one else gets to see.

Moments of joy, bonding and roughhousing on a school trip to the beach counterpoint one teen boy’s introspective sexual awakenings and questionings. Magnificent cinematography and editing create a visual feast that provides the imagery for a narrated poem by Peter Laberge alluding to early homosexual desires, but with Catholic overtones never directly expressed.

All Those Sunflowers
