By the time she was brutally mauled by Alvaro, her ex-lover, she decided to use them to steal her identity by undergoing plastic surgery. With Jo becoming the false Irma, she made a lot of changes and took vengeance against Alvaro and his lover, and married Dan, Irma's high school love. When the real Irma returned, she confronted her and vowed to take everything she had stolen from her.
