Bach: Brandenburg Concertos

When Bach was in the service of Prince Leopold in Coethen, he had his own orchestra and was contracted to compose a great deal of instrumental music. This gave him an opportunity to try new techniques and to develop his own instrumental style. The six Brandenburg Concertos belongs to these masterpieces for a small ensemble. This joyously infectious performance of these famous landmarks in the history of music by the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra demonstrates both the musical satisfaction and the high professional standard that can be reached with period instruments. The performance was given in the Bach Anniversary Year 2000 – 250 years after his death – in the elegant Hall of Mirrors at Coethen Castle. The Freiburg Baroque Orchestra’s members all have virtuoso skills. They take the spotlight gracefully for solos but also play with the true ensemble spirit required by the music. Their decision to perform without a conductor revives an eighteenth century practice.

Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy The Journey of 100

Blu-ray release of the 100th commemorative performance of “Distant Worlds,” a full-orchestra concert tour of the FINAL FANTASY series, performed at the Tokyo International Forum. The Blu-ray is complete with songs such as “FINAL FANTASY IX: A Place to Call home – Melodies of Life,” “FINAL FANTASY XII: Kiss Me Good-Bye,” “FINAL FANTASY XIV: Torn From The Heavens,” “FINAL FANTASY Series: Battle Medley 2012”, which was thought to be impossible to perform live, and even “FINAL FANTASY VII: JENOVA COMPLETE,” which was performed for the first time during the encore. The video is available in multi-angles to switch between the elegant performances of the orchestra and game footages shown on screen during the concert.

Alter Bridge - Live at the Royal Albert Hall (featuring The Parallax Orchestra)

Some nights are just pure magic! In October of 2017, hard rock titans Alter Bridge took to the stage of the iconic Royal Albert Hall in London for two very special headline shows. Myles Kennedy, Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall and Scott Phillips treated the capacity crowds to selections from their entire musical catalog. Adding another career first for the band, Alter Bridge was joined on stage by conductor Simon Dobson and the 52-piece Parallax Orchestra. Mario & Zelda Big Band Live DVD

The "Mario & Zelda Big Band Live" concert was held on September 14th, 2003, at the Nihon Seinenkan Hall in Tokyo, Japan. The DVD recording of this event was bundled with the Japanese gaming magazine "Nintendo Dream" vol. 101. Mario & Zelda Big Band Live was, as the name suggests, live performances of Mario and Zelda music arranged into jazz, Latin, country, and bluegrass. The host, Ashura Benimaru Itoh, started off the concert with an awesome guitar arrangement of the Super Mario Bros. "main theme" and "underworld theme." The performances that followed were divided almost evenly between the Tokyo CubaBoys Jr. (The Big Band of Rogues) and Mr. Yoshihiro Arita (with his band)

Elbow and the BBC Concert Orchestra: The Seldom Seen Kid - Live at Abbey Road

On Saturday 17th January 2009 at the world famous Abbey Road studios in London, Elbow performed the entirety of their Mercury Music Prize winning album The Seldom Seen Kid with the BBC Concert Orchestra and Chantage, the winners of Radio 3's Choir Of The Year competition. The band played new and exclusive versions of the songs from the album in order and were joined by Richard Hawley for The Fix. The Seldom Seen Kid is a welcome return from the band, driven by a thunderous riff that reminds listeners of Elbow's love of the heavy as well as the delicate. Produced by keyboard player, Craig Potter, the album is the follow up to 2005's universally acclaimed Leaders Of The Free World. NieR:Orchestra Concert 12018

After eight years since NieR Gestalt/Replicant was released, with much anticipation from the fans, the first orchestra concert for the series “NieR Orchestra Concert 12018” is now available in Blu-ray!! This product includes all 21 tracks and the live-reading that were performed at the concert fully subtitled in English. Not only does this Blu-ray include footage of the concert itself, it also includes a feature where you can enjoy just the video that was shown on the screen during the concert. The orchestral arrangement version of Kainé (Salvation) (vocals by Emi Evans) and Weight of the World (vocals by J’Nique Nicole) have been newly recorded and are included in the disc as extra tracks, unique to this product. Gauche the Cellist

Gauche is a diligent but mediocre cellist who plays for a small town orchestra and the local cinema in the early 20th century. He struggles during rehearsals and is often berated by his conductor during preparations for an upcoming performance of Beethoven's Sixth Symphony. Over the course of four nights, Gauche is visited at his mill house home by talking animals as he is practicing.
