Fall Away

On the verge of being discovered, the secretly gay lead singer for up-and-coming country folk band "65 Home" dies violently in a back alley. We follow the friends and lovers of 'Handsome Jake' as they try to come to terms with the singer's untimely death. As the band travels to Nashville to honor his passing, we discover that there are many Jake's - the brother, the lover, the poet, the liar and the cruel manipulator. As the band members cross the Midwest with Jake's ashes on board their Winnebago, they must now struggle to regroup, understand what happened, and find a way to move on. But can they do it without Jake?

Across to Singapore

While Joel and his older ship's captain brother Mark are at sea, the latter is abandoned in Singapore by devious ship's mate Finch who, upon their return, convinces the townspeople that Joel abandoned his brother. Joel, determined to not only find Mark but to see justice done, returns the ship to Singapore.

Han truer godsejerens nevø for sin arv, hvorfor nevøen iværksætter flere planer for at bringe drengen i ugunst hos hans bedstefar. Planerne lykkes næsten, men takket være hjælp fra bl.a. præsten ender historien med en forening mellem barnebarnet og bedstefaderen.

Horror Heaven

Jörg Buttgereit himself plays a TV horror show presenter, introducing the audience to a variety of "Horror classics”. These are of course all short Super 8 films and he shows here his versatility as a filmmaker. The short pieces are all made in 1984 and range from a spoof on the Mummy to a Frankenstein parody, to an amazingly well-crafted stop-motion animated Godzilla-like monster pic called GAZORRA (starring Daktari Lorenz from NEKROMANTIK) to a down and dirty girl-fights-off-violent-rapist segment named CANNIBAL GIRL. Hilarious horror comedy!

Lady Baffles and Detective Duck in When the Wets Went Dry

This is another comedy, in which trick photography plays a large part. It is a travesty on the temperance question, siding with the dry element. On the refusal of the Governor to sign a bill in favor of the liquor interest, the political boss tries to force the executive to his will. The Governor, after a series of thrilling experiences, thwarts the efforts of the politicians. The latter calls on Lady Baffles, who impersonates the Governor's wife and secures the executive's signature to the bill. Detective Duck, however, captures the politicians in a clever manner and beats Lady Baffles at her own game. (Moving Picture World Synopsis)
