Omar Marzouk - War, terror and other funny stuff

The show “War, terror and other funny things” by comedian Omar Marzouk played to full houses in Denmark in the spring of 2005 and more than 15,000 people saw the 90-minute show, which was immortalized on DVD in Det Ny Teater. Jonatan Spang: Spark i Løgsuppen

Following last year's large-scale tour Jonatan Spangs Familie, you now have the opportunity to see it on a smaller scale and in a more traditional format – a classic stand-up club night. Jonatan wants to return to his roots before returning to Nørrebro Teater to perform in the spring. The title, "Spark i løgsuppen" (Kick in the onion soup), is taken from a statement made by Pia Kærsgaard earlier this year. She said that she would like to be Minister of Culture and, in that connection, was very critical of many prominent Danish artists.

I'm pretty damn happy with the result, the mood, the expression, and the little frame story, so I hope you'll enjoy it.
