On May 4, 2017, the police found a burned car on one of the roads of the Pantano de Foix, near Barcelona. Inside the vehicle they discovered the remains of a charred body. The Amanda Knox Saga

He was later found guilty of murder in a fast-track trial and is currently (as of 2019) serving a 16-year prison sentence.
