Vengeance: Night of Champions was the seventh annual PPV within its Vengeance/Night of Champions chronology. It featured talent from the Raw, SmackDown, and ECW brands. The event was presented by RAW Attitude Energy Drink and took place on June 24, 2007 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. This event was notable for being on the weekend of the Chris Benoit double murder and suicide case. Benoit, who was originally booked to face CM Punk for the vacant ECW World Championship, legitimately no-showed. The main event featured the Raw brand. It saw John Cena defend the WWE Championship against Mick Foley, Bobby Lashley, Randy Orton, and King Booker. The featured match from the SmackDown brand was a "Last Chance match" for the World Heavyweight Championship between Edge and Batista. The primary match from the ECW brand was CM Punk versus Johnny Nitro for the vacant ECW World Championship.

The Great American Bash (2007) was the fourth annual Great American Bash PPV. The main match on the Raw brand was John Cena versus Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship. The predominant match on the SmackDown! brand was a Triple Threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship between The Great Khali, Batista and Kane. Backlash (2008) was the tenth annual Backlash PPV. It took place on April 27, 2008 at the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. The event starred wrestlers from the Raw, SmackDown, and ECW brands. The main event was a Fatal Four-Way Elimination for the WWE Championship match featuring WWE Champion Randy Orton, Triple H, John Cena, and John "Bradshaw" Layfield. The other main event featured wrestlers from the SmackDown brand, in which World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker defended against challenger Edge in a singles match. The main event from the ECW brand was a singles match where ECW Champion Kane defended against challenger Chavo Guerrero. In addition, a featured bout was scheduled on the undercard, in which Shawn Michaels fought Batista. Backlash (2008) had an attendance of approximately 11,277 and received 200,000 buys.

NJPW Strong Style Evolved UK - Night 2

At Dominion 6.9 in Osaka-jo Hall, Tomohiro Ishii lost a tag team match to Minoru Suzuki. After the match Suzuki and Ishii brawled because of this not only was a tag team title match was made but another match where Ishii will defend the RPW British Heavyweight Championship against Suzuki. At Sakura Genesis, Kazuchika Okada defeated Zack Sabre Jr. to retain the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. At Dominion 6.9 in Osaka-jo Hall Sabre Jr. defeated the Chaos team of Ishii and Yano in a tag match. Because of this victory a Sakura Genesis rematch was made for the show between Okada and Sabre Jr. Jay White was originally announced as going up against Chris Brookes, but as Brookes fell ill, he was replaced with Kyle Fletcher.

Backlash (2002) was a PPV which took place on April 21, 2002 at Kemper Arena in Kansas City, Missouri. It was presented by Castrol GTX and the final U.S.-produced pay-per-view to use the WWF name. This was the first WWF pay-per-view event after the Brand Extension/Split. Collision in Korea was the largest professional wrestling pay-per-view event ever that was jointly produced by World Championship Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling. It took place over a period of two days on April 28 and 29, 1995, but did not air in North America until August 4, 1995, when WCW broadcast a selection of matches from the show on pay-per-view. The event was the first PPV from a North American wrestling promotion to be held in North Korea. The main event was Ric Flair versus Antonio Inoki. Other aired matches include The Steiner Brothers vs Hiroshi Hase & Kensuke Sasaki, Tadao Yasuda vs Road Warrior Hawk, Shinya Hashimoto defending the IWGP Heavyweight Belt vs Scott Norton, and several other matches.

Sin was a professional wrestling PPV event produced by WCW that replaced WCW's January PPV event, Souled Out. It took place on January 14, 2001 from the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. The main event was for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship between defending champ Scott Steiner, Sid Vicious, Jeff Jarrett, and Animal in a Four Corners match. The main match on the undercard was between Totally Buffed (Lex Luger and Buff Bagwell) and Goldberg and DeWayne Bruce, in a retirement match. Other matches included General Rection defending the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Shane Douglas in a first blood match, The Insiders defending the WCW World Tag Team Championships against The Natural Born Thrillers,a triple threat match for the WCW Hardcore Championship between defending champ Terry Funk against Crowbar & Meng, and 5 other matches including one for the WCW Commissioners position between Mike Sanders and Ernest Miller.
