WWE Royal Rumble 2000

Royal Rumble (2000) was the thirteenth annual Royal Rumble PPV. It was presented by MCI's 1-800-COLLECT. It took place on January 23, 2000 at Madison Square Garden in New York, New York. The main event was the Royal Rumble match, which grants the winner a title shot at Wrestlemania. Featured matches on the undercard included a street fight match between Triple H and Cactus Jack for the WWF Championship, a Triple Threat match for the WWF Intercontinental Championship, and The New Age Outlaws versus The Acolytes for the WWF Tag Team Championship. This Royal Rumble was the first WWF pay-per-view event to air on terrestrial television in the United Kingdom, as Channel 4 had acquired the rights to broadcast World Wrestling Federation programming that year.

Daniel Bryan looks to retain the World Heavyweight Championship, but he must overcome two colossal competitors, Mark Henry and Big Show in a steel cage. Plus John Cena and Kane square off in a bitter personal bout. The Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri is this year's host for WWE Royal Rumble.

Payback (2014) took place on June 1, 2014 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. It was the second event under the Payback chronology, with the event having originated in 2013. There were two main events, with the first main event featuring John Cena versus Bray Wyatt in a Last Man Standing Match. The second match faced Evolution (Triple H, Randy Orton and Batista) against The Shield (Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose) in a No Holds Barred six-man tag team elimination match. All In (2018), promoted by Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks, was a landmark independent wrestling event held on September 1, 2018, at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Featuring talent from NJPW, ROH, CMLL, Impact, AAA, MLW, and the NWA, it drew over 10,000 fans, becoming the first U.S. wrestling event outside of WWE or WCW to do so since 1993, and its success led directly to the launch of All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in January 2019.

This is also the first live pay-per-view event to feature the WWE Superstars without the WWE Brand Extension. Eight matches took place at the event, seven of which were broadcast live on pay-per-view. The event featured multiple main events, with Triple H defeating CM Punk, John Cena defeating Alberto Del Rio for the WWE Championship, and Mark Henry defeating Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Championship. The event garnered 161,000 buys, down from 165,000 buys the previous year.
