THE STAR SPORE

THE STAR SPORE is a two sided horror story exploring the effects of a devastating alien entity on both the body and the consciousness of an unfortunate resident of Goldtown, Montana. This project took me around half a year to complete and takes inspiration from books like ‘Hellstar Remina’ and ‘Vermis’ as well as films like ‘The Thing’, ‘Nope’, ‘Lake Mungo’ and ‘Mad God’. This project is not as focussed or linear as my previous projects and I mainly tried to focus on creating smoother animation and more atmospheric scenes.

A pair of smugglers manage to pick up a castaway while running from the authorities, who turns out to be the only survivor from a secret mission to destroy a mysterious superweapon designed by the evil Count Zartharn. The smugglers are soon recruited by the Emperor to complete the mission, as well as to rescue the Emperor's son, who has gone missing.

A team composed of an aerospace scientist, an ex-Air Force general, and an industrialist conceives an ambitious plan to land Americans on the moon. From their base in the Mojave Desert, they construct and successfully launch a spacecraft named "Luna" that contains a cargo of four astronauts. In this animated adaptation of E. E. Doc Smith's groundbreaking science fiction serial "Grey Lensman" from the 1930s-1950s, Kimball Kinnison, a young man from the agricultural planet Mquie and his Valerian companion, Buscirk find a dying man with a legendary crystal lens embedded in his hand. As the man was dying, he mysteriously passed on the Lens to Kim. With more companions to come by, Kim must find out the purpose of the Lens before the Boskone dynasty does.

The Midwest USA is invaded by stingray-shaped alien slugs that ride on people's backs and control their minds in order to spread their dominion. Government agency reps Sam Givens, Andrew Nivens, and Mary Sefton must stop the aliens.
