Many people assume that life does not end after death. Not Dr. Tyrsa, practical and skeptical man, who never believed in this nonsense. However, thanks to the bowling accident, he finds himself in a desert land with people like him not belonging to this world yet not accepted into the other. Now Dr. Tyrsa realizes that the life he used to live was not so bad, and he's got something worth returning to.

In the near future. Many things are like today, one thing isn't: The number of terror attacks has increased so rapidly that any gathering in public is prohibited. Any form of culture and most of human interaction is mediated by an electronic device. The psychologist Claire decides to break the isolation and plans a secret concert with her brother Aurel, a famous trumpet player who has performed concerts in front of virtual audiences only for years. Supported by the hackers Ada and Maximus, their plan seems to succeed. Things go well. Until something else starts to go deeply wrong.

Two women, each named Helen, live out their mirrored lives in the town of Troy, NY. The first Helen is in her 60s, is married, and takes care of a small, extremely lifelike baby doll, which she treats as a living baby. The second Helen is in her 30s, has a successful art career and is four months pregnant. One night, something falls from the sky and explodes over the town. In the aftermath of this event, bizarre and unexplainable things begin to happen.

A Lone Man is an urban fable that addresses the complexity of relationships, with a good dose of irony, and humor.
