What would the pandemic have been like in Brazil if the government had used all the potential that the SUS (Brazilian Federal Health System) offers? What could the country's 300,000 health workers have done to combat the uncontrolled transmission of the virus? How many deaths would have been avoided if we had done contact tracing, mass testing and invested in effective prevention and awareness campaigns? How many children, wives, husbands, mothers, fathers and brothers would have lost the most important people in their lives if the president of the republic had not bet on the strategy of intentional contamination to generate collective immunity, despising vaccines and betting on charlatanism (and corruption)?

Here Come The Waves: The Hazards of Love Visualized

Here Come The Waves: The Hazards of Love Visualized" is an animated collaboration between the band and four filmmakers: Guilherme Marcondes, Julia Pott, Peter Sluszka and Santa Maria. The Los Angeles Times describes it as "a tumbling series of visuals with four distinct aesthetic styles. Peter Sluszka's ultra-slow motion capture of exploding mushrooms and elegantly disseminating seed pods … Julia Pott's line art of wolves and foxes hovering in geometric constellations … Guilherme Marcondes' renderings of skeletons caught among leafless branches and verdant human arms that unfurl like ferns… Santa Maria provides context…with cosmic, computer-generated vistas, cartoons of splintering bones.

101 Questions

A 5th Class student is given an assignment to frame 101 questions. The film is about the efforts he has to put in to frame those questions. At this point, his father, who is a factory employee, loses his job. The two parallel streams converge at the end.

Derbeder

This is a tragic love story between the Agha's daughter İpek and the poor farmhand Ferdi. The two lovers, who grew up in the same village, separated when İpek moved to the city, but their love continued. Despite the kinship between Abbas Agha and Ferdi's father, the Agha's change of heart when he inherits money puts an end to the friendship. Despite his father's warnings about Ipek, Ferdi doesn't listen and moves to the city, thinking that Abbas Agha will help him. As Agha despises Ferdi, he endures every insult and hardship for his love. Realizing that he cannot be with İpek while he's poor, there is only one way left for the young man to realize his dreams: to go to Istanbul.
