AAA Triplemania XXVIII

Triplemanía XXVIII was a professional wrestling event produced and scripted by the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA or Triple A). The event was originally scheduled to take place on August 22, 2020 at Arena Ciudad de México in Mexico City, but was moved to December 12 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In this action-comedy, a sorority girl plays poker with a buxom band of biker chicks and ends up losing all her tuition money. To scare up some quick cash, she and her sisters decide to pose for a bikini calendar. Unfortunately, they end up exploited when sneaky photographers rig their dressing room and film them in the nude. It was a rotten trick and now the girls are really angry. They are so angry that they learn martial arts and then challenge their leather-clad hog-riding rivals to a no-holds-barred wrestling match. They then get revenge upon the photographers.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2014

Elimination Chamber was an upcoming professional wrestling PPV event produced by WWE. The fifth annual Elimination Chamber event took place on February 23, 2014, at the Target Center in Minneapolis. The main event was the Elimination Chamber match, in which Randy Orton defended the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against John Cena, Sheamus, Antonio Cesaro, Christian, and Daniel Bryan. The secondary main event was a 6-Man Tag team match between The Shield and the Wyatt Family. This match was considered the highlight of the PPV and received glowing reviews from several media sites. Also on the card was Alberto Del Rio vs Batista, AJ Lee defending the Divas Belt against Cameron, Titus O'Neil vs Darren Young, The New Age Outlaws defending the Tag Team Championships against The Usos, and Big E defending the Intercontinental Belt against Jack Swagger.

The show will be headlined by a tag team match, with Kazuchika Okada & Hiroshi Tanahashi facing Jay White & Bad Luck Fale. As was announced at Dominion, new IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay will defend his title against Robbie Eagles in Melbourne. Ospreay, who won this year's Best of the Super Juniors tournament, defeated Dragon Lee to win the IWGP Junior Heavyweight title at Dominion. Ospreay then went to the English commentary table and said that he wanted his first defence to be against Eagles. IWGP Tag Team Champions Guerrillas of Destiny will face Juice Robinson & Mikey Nicholls in a non-title match in Melbourne, and Rocky Romero is taking on El Phantasmo in a Best of the Super Juniors rematch

WSU Power

Since DJ Hyde took over the reigns of WSU, the show has severely declined in quality due to booking. WSU has reached its lowest point in the anniversary show with unnecessary overbooking in every corner and more bizarre choices than ever before. We find ourselves three months after this ignominy with Power, a show where starts a tournament to crown a new Spirit champion after Nevaeh abandoned the title on injury (it will probably be explained) and whose main event is Cherry Bomb against LuFisto for the title.

WSU United

WSU Spirit Champion Niya comes to the ring and talks herself up for a bit. Nevaeh's music hits and she comes out and the pair exchange words. Nevaeh warns Niya that if she continues to run her mouth she'll have a serious problem on her hands. They stare each other down, and Niya exits with her title.

As I mentioned at the top, this was a rough spot for them. It was a perfectly fine match but it had little chance of being better than the two matches that came before it as while both have a lot of spunk they aren't on the same level as Nakajima, Fujimoto, Sakura, etc. Yuuka in particular is still growing, seems like a bit of a stretch to put her in the main event of their biggest show but they must see a lot in her down the road. The emotion was there by the wrestlers and Sera has gotten a mean streak recently, but the transitions were shaky and I never brought into Yuuka having a chance of winning. Solid and fun, but that is about as far as it went.

WSU King and Queen of the Ring

After taking the summer off, WSU returned to present the Queen and King of the Ring 2017 Tournament from the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ. This was WSU's final event in the venue. Competing in this year's tournament were the teams of Veda Scott and Jason Cade, Leva Bates and Greg Excellent, Rick Cataldo and MJF, Isla Dawn and Dave Crist, Su Yung and Blackwater, Willow Nightingale and Anthony Bennett, Ray Lyn and Tim Donst, and WSU Spirit Champion Kiera Hogan and Brandon Watts.
