Foster ends up defending Jack, but when the ring is found, he thinks he is protecting Irene, so pleads guilty to jury tampering.

But past lives begin to creep back into the picture and threaten the old man's plans for a life filled with his children.

In reality, Glory would like to at least sample booze, jazz, gambling, and men. A skeptical district attorney, and the fact that Jeffrey horsewhips the star witness (the hit man), combine to get Glenda completely off the hook.
