The three periods are synchronized to take place during pivotal movements: first, in 1999, when the first-ever gay pride parade took place in Calcutta, followed in 2009, when the Delhi HC decriminalized homosexuality, and in 2019, a year after the Supreme Court struck down the law that criminalized gay sex throughout India.

Param Dharam

Savitri (Moushumi Chatterjee) falls in love with Vijay (Mithun Chakraborty), who saves her sister from a dacait named Shamshera (Amrish Puri). Both get very intimate, and then decide to marry. Before the marriage could take place, Shamshera kills Vijay, and Savitri gives birth to a baby boy, but is told that the child was born dead. She then marries Thakur Prem Singh (Navin Nischal), who is responsible for blinding Shamshera in one eye, and sending him to prison. Subsequently Savitri gives birth to another baby boy, Rajesh (Sumit Saigal). Years later, she comes across a young man named Ravi (also Mithun Chakraborty)

The ageing wrestler Sultan Ali Khan decides to try his luck on the mat again; to do this, he wants to represent his country at the Olympic Games, but first has to overcome personal issues.

Time Out

The friendship, laughter and shared love between two brothers is tested when a 14-year-old boy is confronted with the complexities of a simple relationship. Gaurav finds out that his elder brother Mihir is gay. He is unable to accept this as he looks up to Mihir, a high-school jock whom every girl fancies. Adding to his woes, the girl he fancies 'friend-zones' him. 'How to fix your gay kid' is what their mother types into internet search when Mihir reveals his sexual orientation and wishes to come out of the closet.

Jamai Raja

The conflict between Mother-in-law and Daughter-in-law is very common in every family. But in our exemplary story, there is a conflict between Mother-in-law and Son-in-law. Millionaire Durgeshwari Devi is a very stubborn and proud lady. She has two sons, who are employed in her factory. Her pet daughter Rekha is studying in a medical college in Bombay. Everybody is scared of Durgeshwari in the house. In Raja's house, his mother Devki and his adopted sister Indu are staying. It is a co-incidence that he falls in love with Rekha. When this news is conveyed to Durgeshwari by her Secretary Shakti, she get enraged. Raja marries Rekha secretly. Durgeshwari has to accept Raja as her son-in-law and invites him along with her daughter to stay in her house. But it is her keen desire that Rekha must be separated from Raja and she tries her best to create hatred between them. But truth prevails. During the events that are unfolded, Durgeshwari finally accepts Raja as her son-in-law.
