Now that all the boring and practical stuff is out of the way, I'll tell you a bit about the show. Well, I'm not going to tell you what the show is about. You'll have to go and see it. But I can tell you a bit about how it was recorded, because it's a bit different from what you're used to. Since my shows are often very different from night to night and since I've sat in an editing room with a recording and thought; “F*ck, sh*t, that joke was much better the last time I did it”, this time I made the decision to record the show in Horsens, Odense, Aarhus and Copenhagen and cut the 4 shows together into one. Whether it was a good decision, I'll leave it up to you to judge, I'm certainly very satisfied. So all I can say is, enjoy... that is, if you pick it up.

Talegaver til børn: 15 års jubilæum

Talegaver Til Børn celebrated its 15th anniversary in December 2007 with three sold-out shows at Forum. The FBI's annual charity show was produced in collaboration with Unicef. For 15 years, between Christmas and New Year's Eve, people have been able to laugh for a good cause in the company of the country's best stand-up comedians, and the 2007 shows definitely lived up to the success of previous years.

Men's Room

The two experienced comedians Torben Chris and Thomas Hartmann have often been accused of being male chauvinists - a baseless and unfair label... according to them. In response to the accusations, they decided in 2011 to create a show that would be what it would look like if the accusations were true. Adding mustaches and an obvious twinkle in their eye, the two comedians engage in almost two hours of complaining about women's monumental lack of logic, and it's very funny - even according to the countless women who watched the show live. Thus, www.funnyhaha.dk's (female) reviewer gave the show six stars. The show differs from the majority of stand-up shows in that Torben and Thomas are on stage together most of the time. This gives the show a special life in the form of dialog-based transitions and additions that arose as improvisation along the way. In addition to the show itself, which was recorded at Comedy ZOO in Copenhagen in October 2011, the DVD contains lots of extras.

Look forward to a fantastic show, where this year's hosts, Carsten Bang and Jesper Juhl, together with a string of the country's comedians, will mark 25 years with a historic anniversary show on December 27 at Musikhuset Aarhus, December 29 at Royal Arena, and January 8, 2018, at The Comedy Store in London. For the fifth year in a row, the proceeds will go to Save the Children and the organization's humanitarian work for refugee children. I'm pretty damn happy with the result, the mood, the expression, and the little frame story, so I hope you'll enjoy it.
