Nostalgic comic drama in which Cyril and Amos, two veterans of the Normandy landings, return to France to visit the grave of their wartime buddy. They encounter Waldo, an American on a similar mission, and the meeting sparks memories of an old girlfriend from the past. With the mysterious American lady Lisa in their wake, Cyril and Waldo decide to try and track her down.

Teacher Abbas Samkari dreams of getting rich. He finds an invisibility cap and uses it to pay off his debts and follow everyone around him without anyone seeing him. However, the cap falls into the hands of thieves, who misuse it.

Hussein and Laila are children who pledge to love. Circumstances separate them and they meet after they grow up and their feelings are renewed, but Laila is exposed to an accident that loses her sight, so she decides to sacrifice her love so that Hussein can avoid life with a co-wife.

Khurshid Pasha lost his daughter Nadia in Sudan fifteen years ago. He fled to Egypt with his secretary Murad. He advised him to search for her while he was on his deathbed. Murad intends to search for Nadia so that the wealth does not go to relatives. On September 1st, 1939, Nazi Germany invades Poland, unleashing World War II. On September 17th, the Soviet Red Army crosses the border. The Polish army, unable to fight on two fronts, is defeated. Thousands of Polish men, both military and government officials, are captured by the invaders. Their fate will only be known several years later.
