After legendary wrestler and promoter Rikidozan conceded operations of Japan’s wrestling landscape, two men were given the keys to that kingdom. Those men, Antonio Inoki and Shohei Baba, would work together both in the ring as a team and also running the promotion. That is until Inoki and Baba parted to form their own respective promotions. American “gaijin” made fortunes and often swore allegiance to one or the other promoter, touring Japan for either All Japan or New Japan. And tonight’s guest worked for both and became Japan’s most famous gaijin. The Texas powerhouse promotion had no equal in the Lone Star State, and its might yielded both prosperity and controversy. The territory saw gates that crushed those of the other Texas promotions. It was center stage for the Funk/Brisco family feud, hosting the switch of the NWA title to Jack Brisco. Join Bruce Prichard and Jim Cornette as they dissect everything possible about the classic territory. Bruce was a young acolyte, cutting his teeth in the territory and his closeness to Boesch and the entire operation put him front and center for much of what is discussed. NXT ArRIVAL

NXT Arrival was a live professional wrestling event produced by WWE held on February 27, 2014, at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. This was the first NXT Wrestling live event and the first live event to broadcast on the WWE Network service. Bo Dallas competed against Adrian Neville in a Ladder Match for the NXT Championship at the main event of the show.

WWE WrestleMania XXX

WrestleMania XXX was the 30th annual WrestleMania professional wrestling PPV event produced by WWE to be held, on April 6, 2014, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. The event was the first WrestleMania to be held in the state of Louisiana. This was also the first WWE pay-per-view to broadcast live on the WWE Network service.

AEW Dynasty

AEW Dynasty was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW). It took place on April 21, 2024, at Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri, marking AEW's first pay-per-view event to be held in Missouri. Twelve matches were contested at the event, including three on the "Zero Hour" pre-show. In the main event, Swerve Strickland faced off against Samoa Joe to for the AEW World Championship.

AEW x NJPW Presents Forbidden Door

AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door was a co-produced professional wrestling event featuring American promotion AEW and Japanese promotion NJPW. It took place on June 26, 2022 at the United Center in Chicago and featured 13 matches, including 4 on the pre-show. In the main event, Jon Moxley defeated Hiroshi Tanahashi to become the interim AEW World Champion. Other notable matches included Jay White defeating Adam Page, Kazuchika Okada, and Adam Cole in a four-way match to retain the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, Pac becoming the inaugural AEW All-Atlantic Champion in a four-way match, and Claudio Castagnoli making his AEW debut by defeating Zack Sabre Jr. The event also featured special appearances by Juice Robinson and Katsuyori Shibata.

WWE WrestleMania X

WrestleMania returns to the World's Most Famous Arena, Madison Square Garden! The WWE Championship is up for grabs as Yokozuna defends against Lex Luger and Bret Hart. Razor Ramon defends the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Shawn Michaels in an epic Ladder Match. "Macho Man" Randy Savage battles Crush in a Falls Count Anywhere Match.

WWE WrestleMania 22

WrestleMania 22 was the twenty-second annual WrestleMania PPV. It was presented by Snickers and took place on April 2, 2006 at the Allstate Arena in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont, Illinois. The main match on the Raw brand was John Cena versus Triple H for the WWE Championship. The predominant match on the SmackDown! brand was a Triple Threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship between Kurt Angle, Rey Mysterio, and Randy Orton. Featured matches on the undercard included a No Holds Barred match between Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon, a Casket match between The Undertaker and Mark Henry, a WWE Women's Championship match between Mickie James and Trish Stratus and an interpromotional Money in the Bank ladder match featuring six participants. Tickets sold out in under two minutes, grossing US$2.5 million for the event, making it the highest grossing one-day event at the Allstate Arena. More than 17,155 people attended, with millions more watching in more than 90 countries.
