WrestleMania 23 was the twenty-third annual WrestleMania PPV. It took place on April 1, 2007 at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. The event was a joint-brand pay-per-view, featuring performers from the Raw, SmackDown!, and ECW brands. The main match on the Raw brand was John Cena versus Shawn Michaels for the WWE Championship. The predominant match on the SmackDown! brand was Batista versus The Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Championship. The primary match on the ECW brand was an Eight Man Tag Team match between The ECW Originals and The New Breed. The featured matches on the undercard included Bobby Lashley versus Umaga and an interpromotional Money in the Bank ladder match. It set an all-time Ford Field attendance record of 80,103. WrestleMania 23 grossed US$5.38 million in ticket sales, breaking the previous record of $3.9 million held at WrestleMania X8. With about 1.25 million buys, the event is the highest WWE pay-per-view buyrate in history.

SummerSlam 2024, also promoted as SummerSlam: Cleveland, was a professional wrestling event produced by WWE. It was the 37th annual SummerSlam and took place on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio. The event aired via pay-per-view (PPV) and livestreaming and featured wrestlers from the promotion's Raw and SmackDown brand divisions. This was the second SummerSlam event to emanate from Cleveland, after the 1996 event, which was held at the Gund Arena (now known as Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse). WWE wrestler and Cleveland area native The Miz served as the host of the event.

The story in "Silver" is about a female wrestler who is really an undercover agent. Money in the Bank (2011) was a PPV presented by Skittles, which took place on July 17, 2011 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. It was the second annual Money in the Bank PPV. The main event featured john Cena defending the WWE Championship against CM Punk with the stipulation that if Punk won, Cena would be fired. This was due to CM Punk's contract being up the next night, and he was threatening to win the title and leave the company with it. On the undercard, Christian faced Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Championship with the stipulation that the title could change hands in the event of a disqualification. This is also the first live pay-per-view event to feature the WWE Superstars without the WWE Brand Extension. Eight matches took place at the event, seven of which were broadcast live on pay-per-view. The event featured multiple main events, with Triple H defeating CM Punk, John Cena defeating Alberto Del Rio for the WWE Championship, and Mark Henry defeating Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Championship. The event garnered 161,000 buys, down from 165,000 buys the previous year.
