64: Part 2

1989: 64th and last year of the Showa era. A girl is kidnapped and killed. The unsolved case is called Case 64 ('rokuyon'). 2002: Yoshinobu Mikami, who was the detective in charge of the Case 64, moves as a Public Relations Officer in the Police Affairs Department. His relation with the reporters is conflicted and his own daughter is missing. The statute of limitations for the Case 64 will expire in one year. Then a kidnapping case, similar to the Case 64, takes place. The rift between the criminal investigation department and police administration department deepens. Mikami challenges the case as a public relations secretary.

But on the wedding day a jailbird Jankidas suddenly arrives; claiming Sharda to be his wife and providing evidence to prove as such. Everyone is shocked including the Mayor, Kishanchand. Hereafter nothing is the same for the family anymore with Deenanath passing away out of shock; Ravi leaves the house, gets married to Sharda, gets into a fight with Jankidas which ended up leaving one of his henchman dead and is subsequently arrested by his younger brother inspector Sunil.

Recorded in concert at a festival date in Lugano, Switzerland, on July 7, 2007, this aptly titled concert video is unwavering proof that Zawinul, like so many great artists, clearly saved some of his best work for last. This is a perfect companion piece to the 75 audio CD, which garnered a GRAMMY in 2010 for Best Contemporary Jazz Album.
