Genesis: In Concert

Genesis In Concert, filmed in 1976 during the band's tour supporting the album A Trick Of The Tail, was the first long-form concert video featuring Phil Collins as lead vocalist, taking over from Peter Gabriel who had left the previous year. Supplementing Collins at percussion during this tour was Yes & King Crimson drummer Bill Bruford, whom Collins was a fan of and who volunteered for the job until a permanent touring drummer could be found. The movie combines film of two shows: one at the Apollo Theatre in Glasgow, Scotland on July 9, 1976, and one at Bingley Hall in Staffordshire, England on July 10, 1976. Long out of print on VHS and laserdisc, the film resurfaced as an extra on the band's 2007 CD+DVD reissue of A Trick Of The Tail. Dire Straits: Live at Wembley Arena

On July 10th, 1985, under the inspiring eye and ear of master guitarist and frontman Mark Knopfler, Dire Straits gave a concert at the famous Wembley Stadium in London. This performance was a show full of hits including ‘So Far Away’, ‘Sultans of Swing’, ‘Why Worry’, ‘Money For Nothing’, ‘Private Investigations’ and of course the beautiful ‘Brothers In Arms’. The gig included two guest players; Nils Lofgren and Hank B. Marvin.

Classic Albums: Peter Gabriel - So

This addition to the acclaimed & award winning Classic Albums series tells the story behind the making of Peter Gabriel's 1986 album "So". It was Gabriel's fifth solo album and the first one to have a title (the others all having just been called "Peter Gabriel" ). The album spawned a number of hit singles on both sides of the Atlantic including "Sledgehammer", "Big Time", "Don't Give Up" (a duet with Kate Bush) and "In Your Eyes" which drove "So" to multi-platinum sales, the No.1 spot in the UK and No.2 in the US. So was very much an album of the MTV generation and the distinctive videos for tracks like "Sledgehammer", "Red Rain", "Big Time" and "Don't Give Up" were key factors in the album's success.

Jean-Michel Jarre - Starmus: Bridge from the Future

Staged as the opening event of the seventh edition of STARMUS Festival and supported by ESET Digital Security, ‘Bridge From The Future’ was Jarre’s most ambitious live production to date. A sweeping sci-fi soundscape with stunning visual storytelling, choreographed light and laser displays, a 400-drone ballet, fireworks, and an architectural stage, designed by Jarre, that framed the iconic UFO Bridge with twin 30-metre towers. The concert also marked an historic first-time collaboration between Jarre and Queen guitarist Sir Brian May, who joined him on stage for a powerful new arrangement of Dvořák’s ‘New World Symphony’ as well as newly adapted works ‘Bratislava Time’ and ‘Rendez-vous Bratislava’. Jarre was accompanied by longtime collaborator Claude Samard and rising British artist Adiescar Chase, with contributions from the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra and a 19-piece chorus from the Slovak Philharmonic Choir.
