Sparked by the true story of Aya, a four-year-old Jordanian girl killed by her father because he believed her to be possessed, filmmaker Dalia Al Kury launches a fascinating investigation into a controversial and little-known aspect of Islamic culture: belief in djinn. The djinn are believed to be supernatural creatures that occupy a parallel world to ours and their emergence is associated with sexuality, political unrest, poverty and mental illness. The taboo subject of demonic possession remains broadly unresolved in the hearts and minds of some Muslims due to its complex and uncomfortable nature. Using a subjective, “undercover” style, Al Kury journeys into the obscure world of exorcists and the possessed, confronting their traditions and rituals. Documentary producer Jung has won a documentary award. Unfortuately for Jung, the documentary was a trumped-up story and PD Jung has been demoted to a position in the province which he doesn't like. He is just spending his time drinking alcohol and hanging out with ladies in a bar. One day, he hears about a hundred year old wild ginseng from Jung-bae, who is a wild ginseng broker. PD Jung thinks this is a great chance to be reinstated in his position in Seoul. So, he goes and visits Sun-sam, who is famous for finding wild ginseng, a so-called 'Simmani', to get permission for filming a documentary with Jung-bae and Sang-gook, his additional production personnel(AD). Finally, he gets permission from Sun-sam and starts to film. However, people feel something very weird, and some of them get killed while they film the documentary in the middle of the mysterious mountain. PD Jung decides to find out the secrets people are hiding.

30 Years to Life

First of all, the title does not refer to someone sentenced to jail. It is a movie about 6 lifetime friends who are all hitting the big `3-0' together during the same year. Each one looks inside themselves to see where has my life gone and what am I going to do with my future. Actually, what I saw was a black Seinfeld comedy. Tracy Morgan, who is one of the main characters, is a struggling comedian just like Jerry Seinfeld. He gives his opinion of what women want in a man in one of his comedy routines. Melissa De Sousa is looking for a man before time runs out. She is just like Elaine in Seinfeld. I don't remember the big problem with turning thirty, however, all the characters in this movie can show you what they are, such as not having fame, riches, a husband, a thin body, and staying young. Their life stories are probably repeated many times around the world.
