Lotte from Gadgetville

Every year the villagers organize an annual competition of new inventions. One of the best inventors in the village is Oskar, Lotte's father. His primary rival is Adalbert, whose wife also partakes in the competition. On the eve of the next competition, Lotte and her friend Bruno find a book soaked in the sea, from which Susumu, a gardener from distant Japan, climbs out. Susumu teaches the villagers some judo throws before a big judo competition, which the latter will eagerly use to facilitate their daily lives.

Originally a music video for the song Extra by Ken Ishii, but it was later adapted into a 20 minute OVA. Depicts an extremely violent future world where humans and robot-aliens brutally kill each other.

Fantadrome

Fantadroms is a Latvian children's sci-fi cartoon by production company Studio Dauka. The shorts were released sporadically between 1985 and 1995, and all thirteen of them were released as a collection on DVD in 2006. The hero of the cartoon is a yellow shape-shifting robot called Indrikis XIII, who usually takes the form of a cat. He flies through space, mediating various disputes between the other characters. One recurring dynamic in the show is the love triangle between Indrikis XIII and Receklite - the flying purple cat-octopus with whom he is in love with, and the rat – who is in love with Indrikis. Other recurring characters include a cow, a (human) woman, and an amorphous pink blob. The short "Salt" won the Lielais Kristaps award for best animation in 1985. The animation has no dialogue and drama unfolds through pantomime and expressive noises such as grunts, groans, and laughter, which allows the show to cross language barriers.

The main character of the film is a little boy named Marek, who from an enemy of nature becomes its devoted friend. Before this happens, however, fate plays quite a trick on him. At first, however, nothing foreshadows this. Marek arrives in the forest with a school trip. He quickly separates himself from the rest of the children, after which he gives vent to his hooligan fantasy. He destroys an anthill, cuts a tree with a knife, tries to catch a spider. When he fails, he starts chasing a butterfly. He doesn't know that under this figure hides the prince of white and black magic. Wanting to punish the unruly boy, the sorcerer reduces him to the size of an insect. Mark, reduced to the size of an insect, must learn to live in completely new conditions. This is by no means easy.

G.I. Joe: Arise, Serpentor, Arise!

After yet another defeat inflicted by G.I. Joe, the immediate subordinates of Cobra's leader, Cobra Commander, have finally come to the end of their patience with his apparent incompetence and his inability to achieve real victories.
