The Life and Death of Oscar Pérez

Óscar Alberto Pérez (1981-2018) was a Venezuelan policeman who, after Nicolás Maduro had been sworn in as president, became an active opponent of his regime. In January 2018, the Venezuelan national guard tracked him down, and although he gave up to them, shot him dead along with five other rebels.
