Featuring talent from NJPW, ROH, CMLL, Impact, AAA, MLW, and the NWA, it drew over 10,000 fans, becoming the first U.S. wrestling event outside of WWE or WCW to do so since 1993, and its success led directly to the launch of All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in January 2019.

WWE Backlash 2023

The 2023 Backlash is the upcoming 18th Backlash professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) and live streaming event produced by WWE. It will be held for wrestlers from the promotion's Raw and SmackDown brand divisions. The event will take place on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico Jose Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico, marking the first WWE event held in Puerto Rico since New Year's Revolution in 2005, and only the second event overall. Survivor Series (2001) was the fifteenth annual Survivor Series PPV and was presented by Microsoft's Xbox. It took place on November 18, 2001 at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina. This PPV marked the end of The Invasion angle. The main event was a 10 Man Elimination Tag Team Match featuring The Rock, Chris Jericho, Kane, The Big Show and The Undertaker vs. Steve Austin, Kurt Angle, Rob Van Dam, Booker T and Shane McMahon Several titles were put on the line in unification matches. The WWF Intercontinental/WCW U.S. Title had Edge vs. Test, the WWF/WCW Tag Team Titles were unified in a Steel Cage match with The Dudley Boyz vs. The Hardy Boyz, the WWF European Title was defended by Christian vs. Al Snow, and there was an "Immunity Battle Royal" to get protection from being fired by which-ever brand came out on top.

Bragging Rights (2010) was a PPV that took place on October 24, 2010 at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The primary match of the evening was a 14-man interpromotional elimination tag match for 'ragging right' between the two brands. Smackdown was represented by Big Show, Mysterio, Swagger, Alberto Del Rio, Edge, Tyler Reks, and Kofi while Team raw was composed of The Miz, R-Truth, Shaemus, Santino, John Morrison, CM Punk, and Ezekiel Jackson. The main event was a singles match for the WWE Championship with Randy Orton defending the title against Wade Barrett with the stipulation that if Barrett lost, John Cena would be fired. A second main event was a Buried Alive match for the World Heavyweight Championship between defending champion Kane and The Undertaker.

WWE Hell In A Cell 2010

Hell in a Cell (2010) was a PPV that took place on October 3, 2010 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. It was the second annual Hell in a Cell event. Like the 2009 event, the event featured the Hell in a Cell match. The main event featured Kane defending the World Heavyweight Championship against The Undertaker in a Hell in a Cell match. Randy Orton also had to defend his title, the WWE Championship, in a Hell in a Cell against Sheamus. In a special stipulation match, Wade Barrett fought John Cena with the caveat that Cena would join the Nexus if he lost and The Nexus would disband if Barrett lost. Daniel Bryan defended the US Championship in a triple threat submissions count anywhere match against The Miz and John Morrison.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2011

Elimination Chamber (2011) was PPV presented by the National Guard,[5] which took place on February 20, 2011 at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California. It was the second annual Elimination Chamber event. 2 Elimination Chamber matches took place. the first, for the World heavyweight Championship, featured defending champion Edge against Rey Mysterio, Kane, Drew McIntyre, Big Show, and Wade Barrett. The other was for a WWE Championship match at Wrestlemania XXVII, with CM Punk, John Cena, John Morrison, Sheamus, Randy Orton, and R-Truth competing. Jerry Lawler challenged The Miz for his WWE Championship in a singles match and The Corre challenged Santino and Vladimir Kozlov for the tag team Championships.

The main event was a non-title Chairs match between John Cena and Wade Barrett. Kane defended the World Heavyweight Championship in a Four-Way TLC match against Edge, Alberto Del Rio, and Rey Mysterio while The Miz defended the WWE Championship against Randy Orton in a Tables match. Other matches include a Ladder match between John Morrison and King Sheamus to determine the number 1 contendership for the WWE Championship, a Tag Team Title rematch between Santino Marella with Vladimir Kozlov against Just Gabriel and Heath Slater, and a Triple Threat Ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship between defending champ Dolph Ziggler, Kofi Kingston, and Jack Swagger.

SummerSlam (2009) was a PPV which took place on August 23, 2009 at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California and was presented by 7-Eleven. It was the 22nd annual SummerSlam event. The main events of the evening included: CM Punk challenging World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Hardy in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match for the title, John Cena challenging WWE Champion Randy Orton for the title, William Regal challenging ECW Champion Christian for the title, and D-Generation X's Triple H and Shawn Michaels versus The Legacy's Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase. WrestleMania 23 was the twenty-third annual WrestleMania PPV. It took place on April 1, 2007 at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan.
