Eventually he must decided where he belongs.

Underwater

Battling with his own inner demons, Jonathan is taken to an elite swimming academy deep in the English countryside by his soon to be step-mother. At the academy, Jonathan struggles to find his place among the group. He may be a top athlete in his field, but when it comes to the small world of Lakeside, swimming, sex and chauvinism combine to create something explosive and the potential for something very dangerous. This short movie was produced by extracting the story scenes from the adult movie "SwimBoy."

Gloria Victoria

Theodore Ushev’s acclaimed 20th century trilogy concludes with this brilliant fusion of 3D and Russian constructivist-styled animation. Recycling elements of surrealism and cubism, this animated short by Theodore Ushev focuses on the relationship between art and war. Propelled by the exalting “invasion” theme from Shostakovich’s Leningrad Symphony (No. 7), the film presents imagery of combat fronts and massacres, leading us from Dresden to Guernica, from the Spanish Civil War to Star Wars. It is at once a symphony that serves the war machine, that stirs the masses, and art that mourns the dead, voices its outrage and calls for peace.

Subconscious Password

In this short animation, Oscar®-winning director Chris Landreth uses a common social gaffe - forgetting somebody's name - as the starting point for a mind-bending romp through the unconscious. Inspired by the classic TV game show Password, the film features a wealth of animated celebrity guests who try (and try, and try) to prompt Charles to remember the name. Finally, he realizes he will simply have to surrender himself to his predicament.

The House of Loss

Sard

«Sard», an adaptation of the «Thanda Gosht» by Saadat Hassan Manto, is a story of a couple living in an imagined lawless society on the brink of collapse. The main character SANNAN (Ashar Azmat) and his sensual and affectionate ROMANA (Sandeep Garcha) love each other deeply and they have a dream of leaving the dystopic society in which they live. However, a disturbing incident threatens their relationship. SANNAN discovers the darkest corner of his mind, resulting in a terribly gruesome act. On his deathbed he realizes that he has reached the bottom of immorality. The entire story takes place during one night only.

Streamlined Greta Green

In a world wherein cars act like humans, Junior wants to be a taxi, but his mother wants him to grow up to be a nice touring car like his father. Mom doesn't know that Junior sometimes skips school and ventures into the city to ride in traffic, drink hi-test gas, and race trains.

Porky's Railroad

Porky is the engineer on the most pathetic train in the fleet. After some routine episodes (using pepper to get the engine to sneeze itself up a hill, chasing a cow off the tracks, only to discover too late that it's been replaced by a very angry bull), Porky gets word that he's going to be replaced by the new streamlined Silver Fish. He insults it under his breath, but the Silver Fish engineer hears and challenges him to a race. The angry bull catapults Porky to victory.

Nocturne

After ending a very close relationship, Manuel falls into melancholy and begins to rethink his way of loving. Within his thoughts are the social problems that surround him. He realizes that with these comes a rethinking of what love is. An idea that we have been carrying for a long time: the idea that to love is to possess.

As the gravedigger prepares for the next funeral, each time he digs a hole he wonders about his own death.

Neptune's Feast

A group of Swedish tourists are on the way to a Russian village to witness the so called 'Festivity of Neptunus', in which the inhabitants take a dive in a hole in the ice. This tradition, however, does not exist at all. The inhabitants try to make a good impression by starting the 'tradition' to please the tourists.

Mouse Trapped

Hickory and Dickory, the two mice, overhear a news report that all black cats will be exterminated because it is Friday the 13th. Doc, who is a black cat, is being hounded by the police. They try to "help" him but their attempts cause more harm than good (they tell him to hide in Cecil the bulldog's doghouse and inside a running dishwasher). When he discovers he's being given the "run-around", he tries to get his revenge on them (and on Cecil the bulldog) but all his attempts fail miserably.

Happiness

The lives of several individuals intertwine as they go about their lives in their own unique ways, engaging in acts which society as a whole might find disturbing in a desperate search for human connection.

Demi-Goddesses

The second essay about still dominant dark aspects of our modern society. It is conceived as a surreal anti-patriarchal thought experiment and raises important questions about gender, power, and social change, prompting us to reflect on how historical patterns of discrimination and oppression might be either repeated or overcome in a reversed gendered world. It challenges the viewer to confront their own assumptions and biases, and to consider the possibilities of a more equitable society.

Network

When veteran anchorman Howard Beale is forced to retire his 25-year post because of his age, he announces to viewers that he will kill himself during his farewell broadcast. Network executives rethink their decision when his fanatical tirade results in a spike in ratings.

The Ref

A cat burglar is forced to take a bickering, dysfunctional family hostage on Christmas Eve.
