Jhumroo

Anjana lives a wealthy lifestyle with her dad, Dwarka Nath, in a hilly region in India. Then she meets with local villager, Jhumroo, and both fall in love with each other. Jhumroo takes her home to introduce her to his mom, Kamla, who approves of her instantly. Kaamchor

Suraj has been a slacker all his adult life. He hates any kind of work - rather it's paying or volunteer. Suraj now looks forward to an easy life at his In-laws, but that is not to be so, for Geeta wants to move out. Suraj goes along with Geeta, but then starts showing his true colors, and openly demands a share in his wealthy father-in-law's estate, even if it means taking the family to court.

Kudrat

The setting is in scenic Simla, summer capital of the British Raj in the 1970's. Chandramukhi from Bombay is on holiday with her parents and so is Naresh, a US educated medical professional with his parents. Chandramukhi and Naresh show interest in each other, encouraged by their parents. Choudhary Janak Singh, an important and wealthy man lives with his lawyer daughter Karuna in a lovely colonial period mansion. Their house-guest Mohan, a lawyer from Chandigarh is a protege of Janak Singh. Karuna and Mohan develop a romantic interest. Bhola witnesses this, manages to escape, starts to live with a poor widow, grows up uneducated, and makes a living through crime.

They decide to buy a house from a woman named Mayadevi, and after doing so they decide to make a swimming pool and through that dig a tunnel right underneath the tomb and help themselves to the riches that they find there. They also decide to enlist the help of four jailbirds by dramatically helping them to escape from prison. After the completion of the tunnel, they run into an underground pool of water and enlist the help of undersea divers Bikram and Sharma.

Asha lives a wealthy lifestyle in Bombay with her widowed dad, who would like her to get married to Dr. Prakash. While vacationing in Kashmir, she meets with a young man, Rajan, and both fall in love with each other. When she returns home and attends Dr. Prakash's birthday party, she gets a pleasant surprise when she finds out that Rajan is Prakash's friend. Rajan introduces Asha to his mom, while Asha introduces Rajan to her dad, and both parents approve of their match. Before they can get engaged, Rajan had promised his late father that he would obtain a degree from Oxford University, and be back after one year. He decides to travel by boat, which meets with an accident and there are no survivors. A shocked and devastated Asha finds out that Rajan's death has killed her dad, and she throws herself in her work as a doctor, working side by side with Prakash.
