Fortunately the film was played for comedy, a wise decision since it probably would have garnered laughs as a straight drama anyway.

Last of the Comanches

Pinned down by Black Cloud they send an Indian boy who was Black Cloud's prisoner on to the fort while they try to bargain with Black Cloud whom they learn is without water.

I Shot Jesse James

Bob Ford murders his best friend Jesse James in order to obtain a pardon that will free him to marry his girlfriend Cynthy. The guilt-stricken Ford soon finds himself greeted with derision and open mockery throughout town.
