The band Fugazi is documented over a period of more than ten years (1987-1998) through performance footage and interviews with the band and their fans. Director Jem Cohen's relationship with band member Ian MacKaye extends back to the 1970s when the two met in high school in Washington, D.C.. The film takes its title from the Fugazi song of the same name, from their 1993 album, In on the Kill Taker. Editing of the film was done by both Cohen and the members of the band over the course of five years. It was shot from 1987 through 1998 on super 8, 16mm and video and is composed mainly of footage of concerts, interviews with the band members, practices, tours and time spent in the studio recording their 1995 album, Red Medicine. The film also includes portraits of fans as well as interviews with them at various Fugazi shows around the United States throughout the years.

Supertramp: Live in Paris '79

Supertramp’s “Breakfast In America” was the biggest selling album in the world in 1979. It spawned several hit singles and went on to win two Grammy Awards and sell in excess of 20 million copies. Following the album’s release Supertramp embarked on a 10 month world tour which arrived in Paris at the end of November. This show from the Pavillon de Paris was both filmed and recorded. The audio went on to form the basis of the 1980 live album “Paris” but the film was never released. Now for the first time, transferred and restored to full HD from the original 16mm film, this footage is available to Supertramp’s legion of fans worldwide. The sound has been remixed by original sound engineer and co-producer Pete Henderson from the original multi-tracks and can now be heard in 5.1. Three kidnappers are out to get Lepa Brena, the most popular singer in Yugoslavia. Policemen are on their trail, but Lepa Brena is not helpful being on a massive Yugoslavian tour with her band "Slatki Greh", a manager and their crazy bus driver Gile. And even the band members have their own problems, many of them being horny groupies of Bale, the guy with the flute.

Two Roads

Láďa is always joking. Petr has his own incomprehensible dictionary. Jana seeks a partner via a dating service. They are linked through their joy in music and their involvement in the group founded more than 20 years ago by bandmaster Šimon Ornest. Strictly, almost despotically, without pity but with great energy and understanding, he not only leads his musicians to a place on the music scene but is also their support and friend.

The Farewell Girls

Four singing girls accidentally come to sing, but they realize it's a funeral. As girls then begin to see the weight of life and death, which means goodbye, and they began to sing a melody of mourning, then they discover that death is not necessarily associated with something sad, hence from that arises a Idea of creating a band to sing at funerals, sing musics that the dead liked.

Coldplay at the BBC

Coldplay showcased several tracks from their new album in an open-air concert at the BBC Television Centre in London. The gig – broadcast live on BBC Two – featured new material such as 'Violet Hill' and '42', alongside old favorites including 'Clocks', 'Fix You' and 'In My Place'. The band left the main stage briefly to perform an acoustic version of 'Yellow' against the backdrop of the Television Centre building. The gig ended with a rousing version of 'Lovers in Japan' that involved showering the crowd with thousands of paper butterflies.
