This metaphorical approach isn't about antagonism but represents the passionate debates that fuel progress and understanding, even when they momentarily seem to get out of hand. "There is no losing in martial arts. Either you win or you learn." - as Karate Kid would say today.

The Changeover

Barbie Uncovered: A Dream House Divided

The film spotlights the soaring success of Barbie, with sales of three hundred thousand dolls in the first year, to over two billion before Ruth Handler died. The enormous financial rewards for both multi-millionaire parents are exposed, and this leads to a surprising story of betrayal, sex, drugs and excessive partying.

The Nutcracker 3D

This adaptation of the Nutcracker story (by Tchaikovsky and original choreography by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov) is updated in this stop-motion animation from the original Japanese release of 1979. The new 3-D rendering is complemented by the art direction of Sebastian Masuda who is responsible for much of Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's style. She also provides music here.

A suspense drama based on Osamu Takahashi's original work starring Shinobu Otake. The shooting location of Gunkanjima is a famous tourist attraction. When Mansako returns to her husband's parents' house, she noticed a young man named Shinji playing drums at a village festival. Shinji who felt her gaze also looked back at Mansako. Masako invites Shinji to her house to welcome her husband together, and is witnessed by a housewife who came to inform her husband of the accidental death while helping him change clothes. She is stigmatized for infidelity. They are separated, but they vow to meet again 12 years later.
