At the end of September 1941, Soviet artillery troops in besieged Leningrad realize that pretty soon they will fire their last shot, and after that the defense of the city will be doomed. The film is based on a true event: a small group of fearless soldiers transported a large supply of gunpowder through enemy lines to Leningrad.

Vasily Muravin, 50, a teacher at the Moscow Institute of Management, is experiencing a crisis. Ali and Sudi, who received a 10-year imprisonment for embedding many bodies in the backyard of a construction they had previously worked on, were now free after completing their sentences. After the past events, both friends are determined not to get involved in this kind of crime again. Two friends start working as a night watchman at an entertainment venue on the Aegean coast, which does not have a business permit. Captain Remzi, who owns the entertainment venue, also runs human trafficking with his boat. While both friends dream of going abroad with the women they love, these plans will fall through with the two bodies wash ashore. Although Ali and Sudi bury these two bodies in order not to get into trouble, they will not be able to escape the complex situation they fell into.

This yellow rat is the mascot for the small business Glenlyon Motors. This unusual mascot and the absence of an explanation for its existence has many residents of Melbournes north side puzzled. 'A Rats Arse' finally answers the question on every Northside residents lips - “Why?!” - and along the way reveals something about identity, values, community, and the people who exist within them.

Making Dust

Making Dust is an essay film, a portrait of the demolition of Ireland's second largest Catholic Church, the Church of the Annunciation in Finglas West, Dublin. Understanding this moment as a 'rupture', the film maps an essay by architectural historian Ellen Rowley on to documentation of the building's dismantling. Featuring oral interviews recorded at the site of the demolition and in a nearby hairdressers, the film invites viewers to pause and reflect on this ending alongside the community of the building. The film is informed by Ultimology, and invites its audience to think about the life cycles of buildings and materials, how we mourn, what is sacred, how we gather, what we value and issues of sustainability in architecture.
