Brian Reynolds: The Leadville Trail 100

Join us in this documentary as we follow Brian's journey to make history by becoming the first double amputee to conquer the legendary Leadville 100 Ultra Trail Marathon in Colorado.

On | Solace – Running the Alps in 30 days – Karel Sabbe's Via Alpina FKT In the summer of 2021, ultrarunner Karel Sabbe ran the Via Alpina trail in just 30 days. Averaging two marathons on a daily basis, he navigated the route 14 days faster than anybody else. As well as the Alps, Karel overcame sleep deprivation, illness and extreme weather. And he did it all with a camera crew in tow, documenting every step.

Once is Enough

After losing his mother to obesity, a thirty-two year old chubby ginger comedian and vegan son-of-a-pig-farmer sets out to avoid the same fate by running one hundred miles through the mountains of Colorado in one of the world's most difficult ultra trail marathons...and lives to tell jokes about it.

Running 62 km around Grand Teton National Park - GRAND TETON LOOP

Grand Teton National Park is a stunning and iconic park, known for its majestic Teton Range, beautiful lakes, and diverse wildlife. In July of 2022, we made a stop on our way back to Canada while on a road trip to Colorado, so that we could run a 38 mile / 62 km loop around the park, which mile for mile would be one of the most scenic and beautiful routes we've ever run.

Running the Tour du Mont Blanc in 4 Nights

The Tour Du Mont Blanc is one of the most popular and scenic long-distance routes in Europe. It passes through France, Italy and Switzerland while circumnavigating the Mont Blanc Massif, a distance of more than 170 km with 10,000 metres of elevation gain, plus descent. It's typically hiked in 10 or 11 days, but we'd be spending just 4 nights on the trail while travelling fast and light. This would be a training run for us in preparation for UTMB, a race that follows roughly the same route less than 3 weeks later. During the race we'd miss some of the best views while running at night, so this was our chance to really enjoy all that this incredible trail has to offer.

Braving record high temperatures and impending wildfires, he must outrun nature to reach the trail's end before the birth of his daughter. Being present in the moment, finding your purpose, and pushing through the pain are what all runners chase after. On the world’s longest trails, these brief moments of joy can be the only thing keeping you going.

The National Gallery of London is one of the world’s greatest art galleries. It is full of masterpieces, an endless resource of history, an endless source of stories. But whose stories are told? Which art has the most impact and on whom? The power of great art lies in its ability to communicate with anyone, no matter their art historical knowledge, their background, their beliefs. This film gives voice to those who work at the gallery – from cleaner to curator, security guard to director – who identify the one artwork that means the most to them and why. An assortment of people from all walks of life who have a strong connection to the gallery make surprising choices of both well-known and lesser-known artworks. Finally, some well-known celebrities explain what they head for when they visit the gallery. These stories are used as a lens through which to explore the 200-year history of the National Gallery and what the future may hold for this spectacular space.

The Soul of the Bone

“The Soul of the Bone” gradually reveals the apparently isolated existence of Dominguinhos, a 72-year-old hermit who lives inside a cave that juts off from a rock mountain. The film is composed of long silences in which the hermit executes his daily chores, such as cooking and cleaning, and of images that transcend his territory. Towards the end we discover that silence is commonplace in the hermit’s life, the normal state in which time passes. Speech is the state of exception.

Journey to the West

In 2014, Tsai Ming-Liang was invited to make a film for the MarseilleFID, Marseille International Film Festival. Since he was not familiar with Marseille, he decided to make a film as tourist, capturing the beautiful Mediterranean sunshine in the late summer of that year. He also invited famous French actor, Denis Lavant, to appear alongside Lee Kang-Sheng playing Xuanzang. "Journey to the West" was invited to be the opening short film at the Berlin International Film Festival the same year.
