WCW WrestleWar 1991

WCW WrestleWar 1991: WarGames took place on February 24, 1991 from the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix, Arizona. This was the first PPV after WCW left the NWA. The main event was The Four Horsemen and Larry Zbyszko against Sting, Brian Pillman, and The Steiner Brothers in a WarGames match. Also on the card was The Freebirds challenging Doom for the WCW World Tag Team Championship, Dan Spivey challenging Lex Luger for the WCW US Heavyweight Championship, Stan Hansen vs Big Van Vader, Dustin Rhodes vs Buddy Landel, and five other matches.

WCW/New Japan Supershow: Rumble in The Rising Sun

WCW/New Japan Supershow I (known as Starrcade 1991 in Tokyo Dome in Japan) took place on March 21, 1991 from the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan. It aired in North America in April 1991. The main event was Ric Flair defending the NWA World Heavyweight Championship against Tatsumi Fujinami. WCW Starrcade '90: Collision Course

WCW Starrcade '90: Collision Course was the eighth annual Starrcade professional wrestling PPV event produced under the NWA banner. It was the third Starrcade event produced by WCW, and the last PPV event held by the NWA. It took place on December 16, 1990 from the Kiel Auditorium in St. Louis, Missouri. The main event was a steel cage match between Sting and The Black Scorpion for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. Other matches included a Street Fight between Doom and the team of Arn Anderson and Barry Windham for the NWA World Tag Team Championship, and a Texas Lariat match between Stan Hansen and Lex Luger for the NWA United States Heavyweight Championship. King of the Ring (2001) was the ninth annual King of the Ring PPV. It was presented by Mars' Combos and took place on June 24, 2001 at the Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The main event was a Triple Threat match involving Chris Benoit, Steve Austin and Chris Jericho for the WWF Championship. The undercard featured the 2001 King of the Ring tournament. Other matches on the undercard included a Street Fight between Kurt Angle and Shane McMahon, a WWF Light Heavyweight Championship match between champion Jeff Hardy and challenger X-Pac and a WWF Tag Team Championship between champions Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von) and the challenger team of Kane and Spike Dudley.

WWE InVasion

Invasion (also typeset as InVasion) was a PPV that took place on July 22, 2001 at the Gund Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. It was the first PPV to feature the Invasion of wrestlers from the WWF taking on a combined force of wrestlers from World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), later known as The Alliance. The main event, dubbed the "Inaugural Brawl," was a five-on-five tag team match between Team WWF and Team WCW/ECW. The other main match was a singles match for the WWF Hardcore Championship between Rob Van Dam and Jeff Hardy.

SummerSlam (2001) was the fourteenth annual SummerSlam PPV and the third presented by Chef Boyardee. It took place on August 19, 2001 at the Compaq Center in San Jose, California. The main event was Booker T versus The Rock for the WCW Championship. Another main match on the card was Steve Austin versus Kurt Angle for the WWF Championship. Also on the undercard was a Steel cage match between WCW Tag Team Champions Undertaker and Kane and WWF Tag Team Champions Diamond Dallas Page and Kanyon.

No Mercy (2001) was the fourth No Mercy professional wrestling PPV. It was presented by Subway and took place on October 21, 2001 at the Savvis Center in St. Louis, Missouri. The main event was a Triple Threat No Disqualification match for the WWF Championship between Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kurt Angle and Rob Van Dam. The undercard featured The Rock versus Chris Jericho for the WCW Championship, The Undertaker versus Booker T, Dudley Boyz versus Big Show and Tajiri for the WWF Tag Team Championship, Christian versus Edge in a Ladder match for the WWF Intercontinental Championship, Torrie Wilson versus Stacy Keibler in a Lingerie match, Test versus Kane and Hardy Boyz versus Lance Storm and The Hurricane for the WCW Tag Team Championship.

WWE Rebellion 2001

Rebellion (2001) took place on November 3, 2001 at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England. The main event was a WWF Championship match featuring Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock. The WCW Championship was also on the line between Chris Jericho and Kurt Angle. The WCW Tag Titles were defended by the Dudley Boyz in a Triangle match against the APA and The Hardy Boyz. The final title on the line was a Steel Cage match for the Intercontinental Title between former partners Edge and Christian.

NJPW Strong Style Evolved UK - Night 2

At Dominion 6.9 in Osaka-jo Hall, Tomohiro Ishii lost a tag team match to Minoru Suzuki. After the match Suzuki and Ishii brawled because of this not only was a tag team title match was made but another match where Ishii will defend the RPW British Heavyweight Championship against Suzuki. At Sakura Genesis, Kazuchika Okada defeated Zack Sabre Jr. to retain the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. At Dominion 6.9 in Osaka-jo Hall Sabre Jr. defeated the Chaos team of Ishii and Yano in a tag match. Because of this victory a Sakura Genesis rematch was made for the show between Okada and Sabre Jr. Jay White was originally announced as going up against Chris Brookes, but as Brookes fell ill, he was replaced with Kyle Fletcher.

Judgment Day (2008) was a PPV sponsored by Lionsgate's Rambo, which took place on May 18, 2008 at the Qwest Center Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska. It was the tenth annual Judgment Day event and starred wrestlers from the Raw, SmackDown, and ECW brands. The RAW main event was a Steel Cage match featuring WWE Champion Triple H defending against Randy Ortonfor the title. In SmackDown's main match, Edge challenged The Undertaker for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship. In ECW's prime match, WWE Tag Team Champions John Morrison and The Miz defended against Kane and CM Punk. Other matches included Shawn Michaels versus Chris Jericho and John "Bradshaw" Layfield versus John Cena. Judgment Day received 252,000 pay-per-view buys.

WWE One Night Stand 2008

One Night Stand (2008) was a PPV that took place on June 1, 2008 at the San Diego Sports Arena in San Diego, California. It was the fourth and final event promoted under the One Night Stand name. The event featured talent from the Raw, SmackDown, and ECW brands. The main match on the SmackDown! brand was a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship between Edge and The Undertaker with a stipulation that The Undertaker has to leave the WWE if he looses. The predominant match on the Raw brand was a Last Man Standing match for the WWE Championship between Triple H and Randy Orton. The primary match on the ECW brand was a Singapore Cane match involving The Big Show, CM Punk, John Morrison, Chavo Guerrero, and Tommy Dreamer. Featured matches on the undercard included Shawn Michaels versus Batista in a Stretcher match, and John Cena versus John "Bradshaw" Layfield in a First Blood match.

WWE Night of Champions 2008

Night of Champions (2008) was a PPV presented by P&G's Gillette Fusion Power, which took place on June 29, 2008 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. It was the first annual event to be promoted solely under the Night of Champions name and the eighth annual event under the Vengeance/Night of Champions chronology. It starred wrestlers from the Raw, SmackDown, and ECW brands. The main event was an interpromotional match for the WWE Championship between SmackDown representative, Triple H, and Raw representative, John Cena. The main match was also an interpromotional match for the World Heavyweight Championship between SmackDown representative, Edge, and Raw representative, Batista. The main match from the ECW brand was an interpromotional standard match involving three wrestlers for the ECW Championship featuring ECW's Mark Henry, Raw's Kane, and SmackDown's The Big Show.

Vengeance (2002) was a PPV which took place on July 21, 2002 at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan. The main event from SmackDown saw the WWE Undisputed Championship in a Triple Threat featuring The Rock, Kurt Angle and the defending champion The Undertaker. The main event from Raw was between the champion Rob Van Dam and challenger Brock Lesnar for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. The main event from the SmackDown! brand featured WWE Champion Brock Lesnar fighting The Undertaker to defend the title. The main event from the Raw brand featured World Heavyweight Champion Triple H defending against Rob Van Dam for the title. Four matches were featured on the undercard. The first was a singles match between Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle. The next was Trish Stratus challenging Molly Holly for the WWE Women's Champion. It was the fifth annual WWE No Mercy PPV and featured wrestlers from the Raw and SmackDown! brand. The main event from the SmackDown! brand featured WWE Champion Brock Lesnar defend against The Undertaker in a Hell in a Cell. The main event from the Raw brand was a title unification match, where World Heavyweight Champion Triple H fought WWE Intercontinental Champion Kane . Rebellion (2002) took place on October 26, 2002 at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England. The main event featured Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman defending Lesnar's WWF Championship in a Handicap match against Edge. Los Guerreros challenged Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit for the Tag Team Championship belts, Rikishi fought Albert, Reverend Devon and Ron Simmons fought Val Venis and Chuck Palumbo , and several other matches filled out the undercard.

WWE Armageddon 2002

Armageddon (2002) was the third Armageddon PPV. It was presented by Lugz and took place on December 15, 2002 at the Office Depot Center in the Ft. Lauderdale suburb of Sunrise, Florida and featured talent from the Raw and SmackDown! brands. The main match on the Raw brand was a Three Stages of Hell match for the World Heavyweight Championship between champion Shawn Michaels and Triple H. The first match was a Street Fight, the second match was a Steel cage match, and the third and final match (if necessary) was a Ladder match. The predominant match on the SmackDown! brand was The Big Show versus Kurt Angle for the WWE Championship.
