This 30-minute short film is based on the statements made by the mercenary Siegfried Müller in the documentary “The Laughing Man” (Walter Heynowski and Gerhard Scheumann, DEFA studio for newsreels and documentaries, 1966), as well as records from the German colonial period in Africa. As one of them is an actor, they decide to make a movie about their story and to buy out the beach with the profit. This leads to bunch of comedic and dramatic situations where their friendship and their relationships with their significant others are put on the line.
