As has been customary since 1993, the Royal Rumble match winner received a match at that year's WrestleMania for his choice at either the WWE Championship or the World Heavyweight Championship. The story follows Arion, a young man kidnapped by Hades as a child and raised to believe that his mother was blinded by Zeus and that killing the ruler of Mount Olympus will cure her.
