The Costly Truth

Investigating judge at the 3rd Criminal Chamber of Marseille, Françoise Larchey is the wife of Jean-Pierre Larchey, a famous architect of the Coast. The couple has a son, Valentin, seventeen years old... The death of Edith Mesniel, a local political figure, puts the town in turmoil. But when Emilie, Edith's only daughter and Valentin's girlfriend, confides to Françoise that her mother's death was not accidental, Madame le Juge decides to look into the case. By attacking this case, Françoise disturbs many people. She receives death threats, her son and Emilie are also threatened but she refuses to give up. And she discovers little by little that the mafia infiltrated in all the country.

Amok

Dr. Holk leads an isolated and lonely existence in a small, Dutch colony in the tropics. Having fled from love and civilization, his only companions now are alcohol and his work, which takes him to villages ravaged by dirt, fever and a strange illness which turns innocent people into madmen: Amok. One day, he is called on by Helene Haviland, who asks him to abort her lover's child before her husband returns from abroad. Even though Holk is enchanted by her seductive beauty, he haughtily refuses her request. Rejected, the woman turns to a Chinese practitioner. When Holk tracks her down in a dirty dive, it's already too late for the two of them.

Deli Şahin

Two rival companies take it too far when one side attacks Mr. Abbas, the owner of the other company. In a hopeless move, he hires a very famous thug / fighter for protection: Sahin, nicknamed "Deli" (Mad). Sahin's reputation is so intimidating that the news of him being hired causes a distress in Mr. Abbas's rivals, even before he appears in town. Things are looking up for Mr. Abbas. However, the welcome committee waiting for Sahin's arrival are shocked and disappointed at what they see: He's a bum who can hardly stand, with a bottle in his hand at all times instead of a gun. The plot is loosely based on Cat Ballou (1965).

Karla & Katrine

Karla invites Katrine to spend the holidays with her, hoping they might become best friends. As it turns out, nothing goes as planned. Karla meets Jonas and falls in love for the first time, and she nearly forgets all about Katrine. Professor Brecht, a renowned scientist, is obsessively experimenting in his isolated villa. The object of his studies is "apparent death", with the intention that the human body in a cataleptic state can be cured more easily. He lives with his wife Lisa and several other people: his twin brother Germano; Katia, the waitress; Lailo, his assistant and young student Erina. Having discovered his brother's affair with Lisa, Brecht sets up a plan to kill Germano and take his place. The shock makes Erina dumb. Bercht's persecution of Lisa soon turns the woman mad, while Lailo, wandering in the villa's surroundings, vainly tries to find the key to the mystery. A psychiatrist, Louis, firmly believes Lailo's madness is caused by her inner anguish and seems confident in her recovery. But he's wrong: the demented woman kills Katia and then throws herself out of a window. Brecht takes back his own identity, but his actions will have further tragic consequences...
