Borrowed Happiness

Borrowed Happiness follows a group of bar regulars, inside and out of their favorite watering hole. Though the personalities and circumstances of the men differ greatly from one another, similarities between them exist, as habit leads them to continually seek out the almighty drink. The story explores, often with humor, the possibility that the guys might find the true happiness they seek, without having to settle for drunken euphoria.

A Symposium on Popular Songs

Professor Ludwig von Drake plays a variety of popular music, all of which he wrote. First, ragtime: the Rutabaga Rag, with vegetables dancing in stop-motion. Next, the Charleston, with cut-out animation of a singer and dancers. Dixieland and more cut-out animation; the crooner/love ballad; 50's doo-wop; and finally, rockabilly.

A lesbian couple on the brink of divorce divide their possessions in mediation and through each object, we get a glimpse of their relationship and the sometimes humorous and sexy power that objects can hold on our lives and emotions.
